Dr. Burton grew up in Dublin and graduated from Dublin Coffman High School. She loves that she gets to serve the same community where she raises her own family every day. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Burton's mother worked as a nurse in the OSU James Cancer Hospital, and seeing how she improved the lives of her patients, Dr. Burton knew she wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field from a young age. Dr. Burton also grew up rigorously studying classical piano, with an eye for fine detail and remarkable hand dexterity. Dentistry has been the perfect blend of Dr. Burton's professional and personal abilities that enables her to provide outstanding care for her patients.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Burton earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She is passionate about pursuing further training and has extensively studied through Spear Education for cosmetic dentistry, full mouth restoration & temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction treatment, is a graduate of the Midwest Implant Institute Surgical Externship, is a certified Invisalign provider, and has completed Gerety Orthodontic Training. On top of this, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
At home, Dr. Burton and her husband, Brett (an engineer), enjoy spending time with their two young children. They love to be active outdoors, and are usually busy with sports, church, swimming, bike riding, cooking, and spending time with other friends and family.
